Also posting about Blast Off Country Style, a band whose name vaguely sounded familiar but I wouldn't have been able to recognize if they were singing next to me on the subway platform..until I caught the end of June 2nd's 'Subject to Change'.

The song you played was great.

What was its title? And I didn't get the cryptic description you gave about it at the end of the set hah...

Track: Lake Eerie
Album: C'mon & Blast off Country Style
Year: 1995

Good luck finding lyrics for this one, though admittedly it's mostly decipherable...
